ROCK HILL, S.C. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens in Rock Hill on Thursday, July 6, at 249 Harwich St. in the Riverwalk development across from Home Depot. The opening marks a third Charlotte area location for the retro-style restaurant. The first two are located in Concord, the most recent of which opened in late June near Carolinas Medical Center Northeast.
“Our newest location is conveniently located off I-77 in the Cherry Road retail corridor, where we hope to become a go-to dining option for both travelers and those who work or reside in the area,” said Dave Dreiling, franchise owner. “We’re looking forward to continuing the growth of our fast-casual burger concept throughout the Charlotte metro.”
The 3,500 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 95 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Freddy’s is famous for its lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and crispy shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh throughout the day.
“Our signature fry sauce is well-known among Freddy’s fans,” said Dreiling. “It adds a tangy twist to our crispy shoestring fries, though guests enjoy it with all of our side options, burgers and hot dogs. You can also purchase an 18-ounce bottle to take home with you and pair the taste of Freddy’s with some of your favorite homecooked meals.”
