Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opened July 17 at 10611 Broad River Road in Irmo. The new restaurant joins two other Freddy’s locations at 2879 Sunset Boulevard in West Columbia and 457 Killian Road in northeast Columbia.
“ The surrounding residential neighborhoods around Lake Murray make the location a great fit for Freddy’s,” said Brett Rickert, franchise owner.
The 3,010 squarefoot, freestanding restaurant seats 96 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Freddy’s has lean ground beef steakburgers, hot dogs, and crispy shoestring fries, as well as frozen custard treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is freshly churned throughout the day in each restaurant.
