BRISTOL, Va. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens in Bristol on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 270 Falls Blvd. near Cabela’s. The fast-casual restaurant franchise, which has locations in Kingsport and Johnson City, is known for its lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh throughout the day.
“Every Freddy’s steakburger starts with premium lean ground beef that we press thin on a flat-top grill,” said Bob Rasberry, franchise owner. “Add our famous steakburger and fry seasoning, two slices of melting cheese, onion slices and pickle planks and you have one of our guest favorites, the Original Double.”
Rasberry worked with local contractor J.A. Street and Associates to build the 3,360 square-foot location, which seats 100 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
“We strive to provide fast, friendly service coupled with quality menu items that are cooked to order,” said Rasberry. “Our guests enjoy dining with us because they know we don’t start cooking their food until after they’ve ordered it and we serve it hot and fresh within minutes.”
