BUDA, Texas – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers® recently started construction at 15570 S IH 35 near Cabela’s. Freddy’s is known for its lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna® Beef hot dogs and crispy shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is freshly churned throughout the day in each restaurant.
“The number of positive responses we’ve received from Guests in the area has been very encouraging,” said James Oberg, franchise owner. “We’re frequently asked by those who want to see a Freddy’s nearby, driving us to work hard on our development plans for additional locations in the Austin area.”
The 3,464 square-foot, freestanding restaurant will seat 99 Guests and will have additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available.
“The proximity to I-35 will make us a convenient dining option for Guests traveling along the highway as well as for those working and residing in the area,” said Oberg. “We hope the community will enjoy our family-friendly dining experience and atmosphere with all of their family and friends.”
