GREENSBORO, N.C. – Freddy’s recently broke ground for a third site in the Triad. The restaurant will be located in northwest Greensboro at 2322 Battleground Ave., near Office Depot, and is slated to open by the end of the year. Other area Freddy’s include 4106 Brian Jordan Place in High Point, and 1421 Boone Station Dr. in Burlington.

“Our open-kitchen concept allows guests to watch how their meal is cooked,” said Dave Dreiling, franchise owner. “The menu items don’t hit the grill until after we’ve placed the order to ensure we serve a meal that’s fresh and hot, and the frozen custard is churned several times throughout the day so it’s creamy and refreshing.”

The 3,519 square-foot, freestanding location will seat 100 guests, and will have additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available. Menu items include lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and crispy shoestring fries, as well as an assortment of dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“We’ve genuinely enjoyed introducing residents of the Triad to Freddy’s, and we’re grateful for their continued support,” said Dreiling. “Our area expansion is exciting, and we look forward to joining the northwest Greensboro market.”
