CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, recently started construction at 3811 Corning Pl. The new restaurant is slated to open in the summer, marking a fourth Charlotte area location for the retro-style restaurant. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, Vienna® Beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
“The number of positive responses we’ve received from guests in the area has been very encouraging,” said Dave Dreiling, franchise owner. “We’re frequently getting inquiries from those who want to see a Freddy’s nearby, driving us to work hard on our development plans for additional locations.”
The 3,500 square-foot, freestanding restaurant will seat 112 guests and will have additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available.
