WYLIE, Texas – Fast-casual restaurant franchise, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, recently broke ground at 2814 E FM 544. The location is slated to open in the spring and marks a fifth Dallas metro market site for Freddy’s, which has locations in Highland Village, Keller, Euless and The Colony.

“The East FM 544 corridor is a frequently-visited, continuously-growing area,” said Charles McClure, franchise owner. “This section, between the retailers to the west and Wylie High School to the east, is a great location for Freddy’s. In addition to Freddy’s, residents will soon find Inverness Pharmacy, Bush’s Chicken, Soulman’s Bar-B-Que, and new office space in the surrounding development. Our hope is to be a convenient dining destination for community residents, area shoppers, as well as area students looking for a quick bite to eat.”

The 3,600 square-foot, free-standing restaurant will seat 118 guests, with additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available. Menu items include the Freddy’s signature lean ground-beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh several times throughout the day.

“Freddy’s is a ‘better-burger’ restaurant concept, meaning we use only the highest quality ingredients,” said McClure. “Our food is cooked only after a guest has placed their order, and we strive to provide a higher level of hospitality than you would typically find at a quick-service restaurant. It’s this combination that creates a pleasant dining experience for guests of all ages.”
