FRANKFORT, Ill. – Fast-casual restaurant concept, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, recently broke ground at 9701 W. Lincoln Hwy. in Frankfort. The restaurant is slated to open in the fall. Freddy’s made its area debut in Orland Park earlier this year and has a location currently under construction in Homewood.
“We’ve enjoyed getting to know Guests from the Orland Park location over the last six months and we’re delighted to soon join the Frankfort community,” said Randy Simon, President and CEO. “This will be our third location in the metro and we have additional sites planned for the area in the future. The 3,142 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 100 Guests and will have additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, Vienna® Beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is currently targeting the Upper Midwest cities of Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin as key areas for expansion.
