Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has opened its second Baton Rouge location at 13636 Millerville Road in the Greens at Millerville development.
The Wichita, Kansas-based chain specializes in frozen custard, a treat that is richer and smoother than ice cream because of a churning process that minimizes ice crystals and excess air. The chain also serves steakburgers, made from premium ground beef, and hot dogs.
The Millerville location opened a year after the chain’s first Baton Rouge store, at 6464 Siegen Lane.
