Clarksville will soon be introduced to the Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers chain, which just broke ground at 2100 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. on the northeast corner of Wilma Rudolph and Trenton Road, the company has confirmed.
The fast-casual restaurant is slated to open in late summer and serves a menu of “lean ground-beef steakburgers,” said the company. Other specialties include Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is “churned fresh throughout the day.”
“You can always expect genuine hospitality and a smile the minute you walk through our doors,” said Todd Whitchurch, franchise operator, in a prepared statement. “Our price points appeal to families in the area, as well as college students looking for a quick bite to eat going to and from Austin Peay State. We look forward to serving guests in the Clarksville community.”
The 3,300 square-foot, free-standing restaurant will seat 120 people and will have additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available.
