People will have the opportunity to dig into a new flavor of frozen treats, burgers and hot dogs when the Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens in Opelika this spring near Tiger Town.
“We are excited about the growth in the immediate area and believe that the continued growth and strength of the entire community is something we want to be a part of,” said Nick Esterline, TGC principal, a development company. “We look for communities where we believe we can become a contributing member of the community.”
The restaurant, 1701 Capps Landing, which leads to the Tiger 13 theaters, will sell steakburgers, patty melts, frozen custard, milkshakes, grilled chicken sandwiches and more.
“Our famous steakburgers, fries and frozen custard treats are amazing. Stop in for a Turtle Concrete, they are my personal favorite,” said Esterline.
