CARMEL, Ind.– Fast-casual restaurant franchise, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, recently broke ground on its first Indianapolis-metro location at 2740 E 146th Street. It marks the third Indiana location for the Kansas-based concept, which also has a location in Evansville, and is currently under construction in Columbus.
“We’re thrilled to make our debut into the Indianapolis-metro market,” Blake Epperson, Franchise owner. “The Carmel community hosts strong retail neighbors and is easily accessible for those traveling along US 31. The surrounding family-friendly residential neighborhoods makes it a great all-around match for Freddy’s.”
The 3,500 square-foot, free-standing location will seat 100 guests, with additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available. Menu items include lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh several times throughout the day.
“At Freddy’s we strive to provide a fun and relaxed dining experience for guests of all ages,” said Epperson. “Our atmosphere hints at a retro feel, but we’re not necessarily a theme restaurant. We bring to life the late 1940s and 50s, a post-war era of pride and values focusing on unity and quality family time. We look forward to serving Carmel and growing throughout the Indianapolis area.”
