O’FALLON, Mo. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers recently broke ground at 2675 Hwy. K near Babble Creek Plaza. The fast-casual restaurant is slated to open early next year and joins two other western St. Louis-metro locations at 1365 Jungermann Rd. in St. Peters and 6031 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. in Cottleville.
“We’ve enjoyed getting to know guests in the St. Louis metro and feel that the O’Fallon community will appreciate our retro-style dining experience,” said Eric Cole, franchise owner. “Our teams work hard to provide a relaxing environment in the restaurant, focusing on cleanliness and quality service. We hope families in the nearby residential neighborhoods will stop by for a quick bite to eat and get a taste of what Freddy’s has to offer.”
The 3,706 square-foot, free-standing restaurant will seat 100 guests. Drive-thru service will also be available. Freddy’s is known for its lean ground-beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh several times throughout the day.
“Guests will notice that the walls of our restaurants are decorated with genuine photos of 92-year-old co-founder and World War II veteran, Freddy Simon,” said Cole. “These photos follow him from his infancy and adolescent years to his time in the service and post-war family life. We invite you to walk around the restaurant and read about his story while you’re waiting just a few minutes for your cooked-to-order meal.”
