TERRELL, Texas – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers recently broke ground at 1370 FM 148 in the Crossroads at Terrell. The fast-casual restaurant franchise is slated to swing its doors open by early summer. It will be the sixth Freddy’s for the greater DFW market, including a location that is currently under construction in Wylie and will open later this spring.
“The FM 148 and Interstate 20 corridor has seen a steady increase of traffic through the area with the development of the Crossroads at Terrell, a regional shopping destination,” said Keith Alter, franchise owner. “This, in combination with the family-friendly community, makes the area a great fit for Freddy’s.”
The 3,556 square-foot, freestanding restaurant will seat 100 guests and will have additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available. Freddy’s is famous for its lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh throughout the day.
