Wichita, Kansas-based Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will open its second Baton Rouge location later this month at the Greens at Millerville, a long-planned 53-acre development at the intersection of Millerville Road and Interstate 12.
The fast-casual franchise, which offers burgers, hot dogs and a variety of frozen custard dishes, opened its first location at 6464 Siegen Lane last year. Julia Zuppan, marketing director for JRI Management, which operates more than 40 Freddy’s locations, says the new location will open on March 26.
“Our concept seems to be a great fit for the area and the local support really helped bring this second location to life,” adds franchise owner Nick Esterline in a statement.
Esterline says Freddy’s has no plans to further expand in the Baton Rouge market.
Freddy’s joins chicken finger chain Zaxby’s, Golden Corral, The RV Shop and Richards Honda as tenants at The Greens at Millerville.
