Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens today, Aug. 14, at 347 S. Illinois Ave. in the Main Street Oak Ridge development.
It marks the first Freddy’s in the Knoxville metro area.
“We’re excited to be part of the restaurant and retail development that is taking place in this corner,” Bob Rasberry, franchise owner, stated in a news release. “We take pride in being a part of the community and being a good neighbor to the residents and businesses nearby. We hope to be a popular place for area shoppers looking for a quick bite to eat, as well as for those who want to relax and enjoy a fresh meal and dessert treat with family and friends.”
