KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Monday, Jan. 21, at 7614 Chapman Hwy. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, Vienna® Beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
“The Chapman Highway retail corridor has a steady flow of traffic through the area and is home to a wide variety of retail businesses and restaurants that makes it a great fit for Freddy’s,” said Bob Rasberry, franchise owner. “We’re looking forward to continuing the growth of our fast-casual burger concept throughout the Knoxville area and supporting the communities in which we serve.”
The 3,360 square-foot, endcap restaurant seats 98 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
“We enjoy educating first-time Freddy’s guests on the menu and concept,” said Rasberry. “And then, when they begin to frequent Freddy’s, we go from remembering faces to remembering orders; it’s a personal touch that our guests truly value. We’re delighted to join the Knoxville community, and appreciate the excitement surrounding our opening.”
