DENISON, Texas – Fast-casual restaurant concept, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, opens in Denison on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 211 North US Hwy 75 near Walmart. It marks the first Texoma location south of the Red River for the retro-style chain.

“Freddy’s is a family-friendly concept,” said Mark Thompson, franchise owner. “Our team works hard to provide a comfortable environment in the restaurant by focusing on cleanliness and quality service. Menu items are cooked to order, and you can grab a quick bite to eat if you need, or relax and enjoy a fresh meal and dessert treat with family and friends.”

The 3,188 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 104 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Freddy’s is known for its signature lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and crispy shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh several times throughout each day.

“We enjoy educating first-time Freddy’s guests on the menu and concept,” said Thompson. “And then, when they begin to frequent Freddy’s, we go from remembering faces to remembering orders; it’s a personal touch that our guests truly value. We’re delighted to join the Denison community, and appreciate the excitement surrounding our opening.”
