LEXINGTON, Ky. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 2500 Polo Club Blvd. near Costco and Cabela’s. The fast-casual restaurant concept, which has a location in Bowling Green and in Glasgow, serves lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as an assortment of dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh throughout the day.
“We use premium ingredients, we cook to order, and we strive to offer a higher level of hospitality than what you might traditionally expect in a quick-service restaurant,” said Todd Whitchurch, franchisee. “Freddy’s is a relaxed, family-friendly environment where guests can comfortably enjoy a quality meal and frozen custard treat.”
The 3,500 square-foot, freestanding location seats 115 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
“If you’re a first-time guest of Freddy’s, you can’t go wrong with the Original Double,” said Whitchurch. “It’s a menu favorite that comes with two thinly-pressed steakburger patties that we sear on a flat-top grill until the edges are crispy and caramelized. Topped with cheese, mustard, pickle planks and onion slices, the burger is served on a toasted bun alongside our crispy shoestring fries or other side of your choice.”
