WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens a new location on Tuesday, April 18, at 1302 Wilmington Pike across from Penn Oaks Golf Club. A ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the West Chester Chamber of Commerce will be held at 10 a.m. to officially welcome the new business to the area. It marks a second Pennsylvania location for the fast-casual restaurant concept, which made its area debut in 2012 when it opened in Broomall.

“The Wilmington Pike retail corridor is a family-friendly area that we felt was a great fit for Freddy’s,” said Steve DiMarco, franchise owner. “You’ll find that our team members truly enjoy putting in the extra effort to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests with fast, friendly service and genuine hospitality.”

The 3,200 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 100 guests. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Freddy’s is known for its lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with premium chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is freshly-churned throughout the day.

“Guests often inquire about our concretes,” said Kurt Herwig, General Manager. “It’s a popular option where we blend the custard along with the toppings of your choice. We can also prepare our desserts as sundaes, shakes and malts. Any order of our freshly-churned frozen custard is the perfect way to end a meal at Freddy’s.”
