OAK RIDGE, Tenn. – Fast-casual restaurant concept, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, opens Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 347 S. Illinois Ave. in the Main Street Oak Ridge development. It marks the first Freddy’s in the Knoxville metro area.
“We’re excited to be part of the restaurant and retail development that is taking place in this corner,” said Bob Rasberry, franchise owner. “We take pride in being a part of the community and being a good neighbor to the residents and businesses nearby. We hope to be a popular place for area shoppers looking for a quick bite to eat, as well as for those who want to relax and enjoy a fresh meal and dessert treat with family and friends.”
The 2,977 square-foot location seats 112 Guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Freddy’s is known for its lean, ground beef steakburgers, Vienna® Beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries, as well as frozen custard treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is freshly churned throughout the day in each restaurant.
“This will be our first location in the Knoxville area, and we have additional sites planned for the city,” said Rasberry. “We’re looking forward to continuing the growth of our family-friendly concept throughout the region.”
