ORANGE PARK, Fla. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens in Orange Park on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 386 Blanding Blvd. A free scoop of frozen custard is available for guests who bring a non-perishable food item for Green Cove Food Pantry to assist with Hurricane Matthew relief efforts. The offer is good through Nov. 14.

“Our focus on genuine hospitality and fast, friendly service makes us a desirable lunch and dinner choice for those who live, work and attend school in the area,” said Adam Wessley, franchise owner. “Whether you dine-in, carry-out, or opt to use the drive-thru, your food is cooked to order and ready for you within a matter of minutes.”

The 3,375 square-foot, free-standing location seats 110 guests, and has an additional 25 seats on the patio. The location features a two-lane drive-thru. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Menu items include lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“A steakburger starts with premium, lean ground beef that we press thin on a flat grill,” said Kyle Gerstner, franchise operator. “The Freddy’s Original Double is a guest favorite. For dessert, we recommend the Signature Turtle sundae. It’s made with our frozen custard that we churn fresh several times throughout the day.”
