CARTERSVILLE, Ga. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will make its Cartersville debut on Sunday, September 4, across the road from Kohl’s in Main Street Shopping Center. The fast-casual restaurant concept is known for its lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
Non-profit organization, ELI Group, will receive ten percent of select frozen custard treats ordered at Freddy’s from September 4 to October 4. A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held for the new restaurant on Tuesday, September 6, at 10 a.m. hosted by the Cartersville-Bartow Chamber. Lindsey Turner, founder of ELI Project, will also be in attendance at the ribbon cutting.
The 3,200 square-foot franchise restaurant was developed by TGC Development Group out of Wichita, Kan., and will be operated by JRI Management based in Salina, Kan. It will seat 100 guests with additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
“The restaurant is easily accessible to and from the highway, and is surrounded by a strong mix of family-friendly retail establishments,” said Nick Esterline, franchise owner. “Those features made it a prime pick for our team and we’re excited to open our doors.”
