DUBUQUE, Iowa – Fast-casual restaurant concept, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, opens in Dubuque on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 2625 NW Arterial in front of Kohl’s and TJ Maxx. It marks the fourth eastern Iowa location for Freddy’s, following locations in Cedar Rapids and Waterloo.
“We’ve truly enjoyed getting to know guests at our locations in eastern Iowa by serving fantastic food and custard, as well as supporting community activities for local schools and other non-profit organizations,” said Steven Young, franchise partner. “We take pride in being a part of the community and being a good neighbor to the residents and businesses in the area.”
The 3,200 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 90 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Freddy’s is known for its lean ground-beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh several times throughout the day.
