BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Tuesday, March 5, at 2475 N. Expressway. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, Vienna® Beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
“Freddy’s is a better burger restaurant concept,” said James Oberg, franchise owner. “We use premium ingredients and your food is always cooked-to-order, served hot and fresh within minutes. When you walk in, you can expect a warm greeting, and you’ll experience genuine hospitality we call the ‘Freddy’s Way.’”
The 3,537 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 96 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
“Brownsville is our fourth location in the Rio Grande Valley area, and we have additional sites planned for the future,” said Oberg. “We hope to achieve a closer presence to many of our local fans in the area, as well as reach those who haven’t yet visited Freddy’s.”
