COLUMBUS, Ind. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers makes its Columbus debut on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 3660 Jonathan Moore Pike near the I-65 exit. The restaurant concept also opens on Tuesday in the northern Indianapolis metro market at 2740 E. 146th St. in Westfield/Carmel.

“At Freddy’s, we strive to provide a fun and relaxed dining experience for guests of all ages and groups of all sizes,” said Duncan Savage, operating partner. “Our fast, friendly service and genuine hospitality makes us an enjoyable dining option for individuals hoping to grab a quick bite to eat on the way to their next event, as well as groups of guests looking to enjoy a quality meal together.”

The 2,960 square-foot, freestanding location seats 100 guests, and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Menu items include lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and crispy shoestring fries, as well as a large assortment of dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh throughout each day.

“Every Freddy’s steakburger starts with premium, lean ground beef that we press thin, sear on a flat-top grill and sprinkle with our famous steakburger and fry seasoning,” said Savage. “When we press the patties thin, it creates deliciously crispy edges and a juicy, flavorful center. You’ll want to order a double burger, we specifically recommend the Original Double.”
