LAKE ZURICH, Ill. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Tuesday, June 4, at 1095 S. Rand Rd. The opening marks a fourth Chicago-area location for Freddy’s, and a fifth restaurant is currently under construction in Glendale Heights.
“Our restaurant presence in the Chicago area is steadily increasing and we look forward to continuing our growth over the next few years,” said Randy Simon, President and CEO. “We’ll continue to uphold the exceptional Freddy’s dining experience with fast, friendly service and cooked-to-order menu items to all of our guests at our new location in Lake Zurich.”
The 3,600 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 92 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, Vienna® Beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
“For our first-time guests, we like to recommend the Original Double combo meal,” said Scott Redler, co-founder and COO. “The burger comes with two steakburger patties pressed thin on a flat top grill and sprinkled with our famous seasoning. It’s then topped with two slices of cheese, mustard, pickle planks and onion slices on a toasted bun, and served with a side of our shoestring fries and a drink.”
