ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers® opens Tuesday, May 8, in The Shops at University of New Mexico at 2550 Central Ave. SE. The opening marks the fifth Albuquerque location for Freddy’s. The fast-casual restaurant is known for its lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna® Beef hot dogs and crispy shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is freshly churned throughout the day in each restaurant.
“Our focus on genuine hospitality and fast, friendly service makes us a desirable lunch and dinner choice for those who live, work and attend school in the area,” said Ken Brock, franchise operator. “We’re a convenient stop for the UNM students and staff to grab a quick bite to eat, and we’re also a great spot for groups to meet up after events. The 3,080 square-foot space in the building seats 100 Guests and has additional seating on the patio. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
