A popular restaurant chain is adding another location in the Triad after entering the market in late 2014.
Ground was broken last week for the construction of a Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers at 2322 Battleground Ave. It will be the third Freddy’s franchise in the Triad, with the others located at 1421 Boone Station Trail in Burlington and 4106 Brian Jordan Place in High Point, which was its first store in the market.
Plans are for the Greensboro restaurant to open by the end of the year. The building will measure 3,519 square feet and have room for 100 customers inside and more on an outside patio. The restaurant will have a drive-through window. About 85 people will be employed at the store.
