Fans of Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, your third local outpost is almost here, expanding its local presence from the southeast and Henderson, over to the westside.
Earlier this week, the Wichita, Kansas-based chain revealed via Facebook, “we are hoping for a late January opening, barring any unforeseen delays!” The restaurant will take over a long-shuttered combination Long John Silver’s and A&W drive-thru building, close to the corner of Charleston and Decatur boulevards.
This location has been hiring since November and has already confirmed it will be serving daily from 10.30 a.m. to 10 pm., staying open an hour later until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
In 2012, the company announced plans for eight Las Vegas locations, all featuring their distinctive red and white color scheme, nods to a retro diner ambience and a menu famed for steakburgers, frozen custard concretes and sundaes, Chicago dogs, patty melts and fries cooked with “Freddy’s Famous Fry Seasoning.”
