Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has slated a mid-December opening for its new Van Buren location at 1906 Fayetteville Road.
Located near the Interstate 40 exit, the building was formerly Frank’s Italian Restaurant & Grill, which moved January 2017 to 525 N. Plaza Court.
According to Van Buren Planning & Development, the estimated value for the remodeling job of the 2,468-square-foot building by Accel Construction of Wichita, Kan. is about $808,000. Freddy’s is based in Wichita. Winter Architects, another Wichita-based company was the architecture firm for the project.
