OZARK, Mo. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens in Ozark on Tuesday, July 18, at 1915 W. Marler Ln. in front of Walmart. The fast-casual restaurant concept operates two existing locations in Springfield and is slated to open a third Springfield location at 2305 N. Glenstone this summer.
“Our restaurant atmosphere hints at retro, reminiscent of the late 1940s and early 1950s,” said Tim Rheem, Director of Operations for 3Pointe Restaurant Group. “Values of unity and quality family time from that post-war era are the foundation of our concept, but we mix in modern day conveniences like digital menu boards to create a dining experience that’s timeless and comfortable for guests of all ages.”
The 3,000 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 95 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Freddy’s is known for its signature lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
“Our signature fry sauce is well-known among Freddy’s fans,” said Rheem. “It adds a tangy twist to our crispy shoestring fries, though guests enjoy it with all of our side options, burgers and hot dogs. You can also purchase an 18-ounce bottle to take home with you and pair the taste of Freddy’s with some of your favorite homecooked meals.”
