ORLANDO, Fla.– Fast-casual restaurant franchise, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, recently broke ground at 11662 University Blvd. The new location is currently slated to open before the end of this year, and is the third of more than 20 sites the restaurant concept has planned for Osceola, Orange, Seminole and Volusia Counties.
“University Boulevard is a great fit for Freddy’s,” said Brian Pyle, franchise operator. “We strive to provide fast, friendly service, and our price points appeal to college students and families. We look forward to joining the area.”
The 5,500 square-foot, free-standing location will seat 154 guests, with additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available. Menu items include lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh several times throughout the day.
“Our atmosphere hints at retro, but we’re not a theme restaurant,” said Pyle. “We play a wide variety of music; a few classic hits mixed with today’s Top 40 makes for a fun and friendly atmosphere that is comfortable for guests of all ages.”
