OMAHA, Nebraska – Wednesday morning, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers presented a check to the American Red Cross of Nebraska & Southwest Iowa to benefit Midwest flood relief efforts. During the month of April, Freddy’s restaurants throughout Nebraska and Iowa offered guests the opportunity to add $1 to their total purchase, raising more than $20,000.
“When our community was hit with severe flooding, we searched for a way to offer our support,” said Alex Carney, franchise owner of TR Hospitality, a Freddy’s franchisee. “I’m very proud of our Freddy’s guests and team members, this donation reflects their generosity and will help provide shelter, food and comfort to families impacted by this natural disaster.”
