Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opened Sunday at 3705 Dallas Highway SW in the new Parkside West Cobb shopping center anchored by Sprouts Farmers Market.
The Cobb Chamber plans to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. on March 23. Representatives of Marietta-based MUST Ministries will be in attendance. The local nonprofit organization will receive 10-percent of sales from all regular and large size frozen custard treats sold through April 19.
“We’re grateful for all of the help and hard work put in this winter to keep us on track to open by spring,” said Nick Esterline, franchise owner. “And thank you to the City of Marietta and Cobb County for the warm welcome. We’ve hired a great crew of local individuals who’re prepped and ready for Sunday. We hope to see you there.”
The 3,010 square-foot, freestanding location is developed by TGC Development Group and operated by JRI Management. It seats 100 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available.
