CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers recently broke ground at 2100 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. on the northeast corner of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and Trenton Road. The fast-casual restaurant is slated to open in late summer and serves a menu of lean ground-beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh throughout the day.
“You can always expect genuine hospitality and a smile the minute you walk through our doors,” said Todd Whitchurch, franchise operator. “Our price points appeal to families in the area, as well as college students looking for a quick bite to eat going to and from Austin Peay State. We look forward to serving guests in the Clarksville community.”
The 3,300 square-foot, free-standing restaurant will seat 120 guests and will have additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available.
“Freddy’s is known for the Original Double,” said Whitchurch. “It comes with two patties that we sear on a flat grill until the edges are crispy and caramelized, almost lace-like in appearance. We top the burger with two slices of cheese, mustard, three onion slices and two pickle planks, all served on a toasted bun alongside a heaping portion of our famous shoestring fries.”
