PEARLAND, Texas – Growth continues to heat up in Houston for Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. The chain recently broke ground at 2620 Pearland Parkway on a site slated to open in the spring. It is the second Freddy’s to recently break ground in the southern-Houston metro market, following a location in Pasadena that is slated to open later this winter.

“Our construction start in Pearland moves the count to three new Freddy’s restaurants coming soon to Metro Houston,” said Padden Nelson, franchise owner. “We recently broke ground at 4637 E. Sam Houston Pkwy., in Pasadena, and our northern guests can expect the doors to open next month at our newest location in Spring on Kuykendahl Road.”

The 3,000 square-foot, free-standing restaurant in Pearland will seat 75 guests, and will have additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available. Menu items will include the Freddy’s signature lean ground-beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh several times throughout the day.

“A consistent dining experience remains one of our top priorities,” said Nelson. “We know many of our guests have standard orders, and so our teams strive to make sure that no matter what part of the city you’re in, you can count on your Freddy’s favorites to remain the same.”
