MARIETTA, Ga. – Fast-casual restaurant franchise, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, recently broke ground at 3705 Dallas Highway SW on a location projected to open later this winter. The chain is also currently under construction at 1360 Earnest Barret Pkwy. in Kennesaw on a site that will open next month. Menu items include lean ground-beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh several times throughout the day.

“The Avenue at West Cobb is a flourishing hub for commercial business,” said Nick Esterline, franchise owner. “It’s proximal to residential neighborhoods and has a steady flow of traffic through the area. We hope to offer a quick, yet quality, dining experience for shoppers on their way to or from the shopping center, as well as area residents looking for a place to relax and enjoy a meal with family and friends.”

The 3,010 square-foot, free-standing location in Marietta is developed by TGC Development Group and will be operated by JRI Management. It will seat 100 guests, and will have additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available.

“At Freddy’s, a steakburger is lean ground beef pressed thin on a flat grill to create deliciously crispy, caramelized edges,” Jason Ingermanson, franchise operator. “And frozen custard is denser, richer and creamier than ice cream due to a churning process that eliminates excess air and ice crystals. Many of our guests agree that both of these signature menu items, combined with our focus on guest service and hospitality, are what make Freddy’s stand out from other burger concepts.”
