ORLAND PARK, Ill. – Fast-casual restaurant concept, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, opens on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 7402 W 159th St. The opening marks the first location for Freddy’s in the Chicago metro. Freddy’s plans to develop several additional restaurants in the area over the next few years.
“Freddy’s is a better burger restaurant concept,” said Randy Simon, President and CEO. “We provide high quality, cooked-to-order menu items in a fun and comfortable environment. When you walk in, you can expect a warm greeting, and you’ll experience genuine hospitality we call the ‘Freddy’s Way.’”
The 3,476 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 106 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Freddy’s is known for its lean ground-beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and crispy shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh several times throughout the day in each restaurant.
“At Freddy’s, we genuinely value supporting the community in which we serve,” said Simon. “Through March 6, local nonprofit Bridge Teen Center will receive 10 percent of all frozen custard treat sales at our new restaurant. We look forward to joining Orland Park and getting to know guests in the area.”
