CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Fast-casual restaurant franchise, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, opens its second Cedar Rapids location on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 2460 Edgewood Rd. SW, Ste. 100. The restaurant is across from Carmike Wynnsong 12 Theater and is the latest in a string of new businesses to join the area after an extensive renovation of Westdale Mall and the surrounding trade area.
“Westdale Mall is a thriving family-friendly retail area and a great match for Freddy’s,” said Steven Young, Director of Operations. “Our Blairs Ferry Road location is very popular, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to provide a more convenient dining option for residents of south Cedar Rapids.”
The 3,200 square-foot location seats 100 guests, and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Restaurant hours are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
“Freddy’s is a ‘better burger’ concept,” said Young. “We use premium ingredients, our menu items are cooked to order, and we strive to provide a higher level of service. It makes for a quality dining experience that our guests truly value.”
