MACON, Ga. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers recently broke ground at 6239 Zebulon Road in Plantation Village shopping center. Slated to open in late summer, it will be the second Middle Georgia site for the fast-casual restaurant, joining a location which opened last year in Kathleen at 678 Lake Joy Road.
“Plantation Village is a great fit for Freddy’s due to the family-friendly atmosphere of the surrounding neighborhoods and the steady flow of traffic through the area,” said Ray Yarbrough, franchise owner. “We hope to be a popular dining option for local shoppers, area residents and those hungry travelers passing through on I-475.”
The 3,000 square-foot, free-standing restaurant will seat 95 guests and will have additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available. Freddy’s is known for its lean ground-beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh throughout the day.
“We focus on premium quality food and fast, friendly service,” said Yarbrough. “Guests can always expect cooked-to-order menu items and creamy frozen custard at an appealing price point. We look forward to serving the Macon community.”
