YUMA, Az. – Fast-casual restaurant franchise, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, plans to make its Yuma debut this fall and is currently under construction at 1785 E. 16th Street, across from Yuma Palms Regional Center. The family-friendly restaurant serves lean beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs, and shoestring fries, as well as a large assortment of dessert treats prepared with your choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard freshly churned throughout each day.
“Yuma is a family-oriented community and a great all-around match for Freddy’s,” said Craig Newman, franchise operator. “We’re excited to be a part of the new development in the thriving, 16th Street and Sunridge retail corridor, and we hope to be a convenient dining option for local residents, area shoppers, and guests of the nearby hotels.”
The 3,010 square-foot, free-standing Freddy’s will seat 100 guests, with additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available.
“If you’ve never tasted a Freddy’s steakburger, you’re in for a treat,” said Newman. “Many of our guests enjoy the Original Double combo meal, which comes with two steakburger patties we press thin, sear on the grill, and top with Freddy’s seasoning, cheese, mustard, pickle planks, and onion slices, all on a toasted bun. It comes with a heaping portion of our crispy shoestring fries and a drink.”
