SNELLVILLE, Ga. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens its fifth Atlanta metro market location on Sunday, July 24, at 1770 Scenic Hwy., in Snellville. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Tuesday, July 26, at 10 a.m. hosted by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. Lawrenceville Boys & Girls Club will be in attendance at the ceremony. Freddy’s plans to donate to the Club a percentage of sales from all regular and large size frozen custard treats sold from July 24 to August 24.

Developed by TGC Development Group based in Wichita, Kan., and operated by JRI Management based in Salina, Kan., the new Freddy’s franchise seats 100 guests, with additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. The two companies plan to continue the Metro-Atlanta development of Freddy’s over the next few years, and a location is currently under construction in Cartersville at 120 Main Street Marketplace. It is slated to open later this summer.

Freddy’s offers a variety of menu items, including lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs, and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is freshly churned throughout each day. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

“We’re a fast-casual restaurant, but with a few perks of a full-service restaurant,” said Jason Ingermanson, franchise operator. “Initially, guests pick up their food from the counter and take it back to their seat, but we’ll almost always have a team member walking around the restaurant providing table service throughout your visit.”
