Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers plans to open a location in Ozark this spring.
The Wichita-based restaurant chain said in a news release Monday that it recently began remodeling the former Chappy’s Deli at 1915 W. Marler Lane. The 3,000-square-foot, free-standing restaurant will be the company’s first in Ozark.
“Freddy’s appeals to guests of all ages,” Francise operator Tim Rheem said in the release. “That’s why we feel Ozark is a great fit; the demography is diverse and we’re confident the community will enjoy a family-friendly concept like Freddy’s.”
Freddy’s has 241 restaurants in 30 states, according to the release. Locally, the company has two restaurants open in south Springfield, and one in Branson. Another Springfield location is currently under construction at 2305 N. Glenstone.
