KEARNEY, Neb. — A restaurant preparing to open its doors for the first time in Kearney.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens Tuesday with dine-in and drive-thru service.
The restaurant is located at 1010 3rd Ave, Suite G near Centennial Park. Freddy’s is known for its ground beef steakburgers, Vienna beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats with chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
“Our restaurant atmosphere hints at retro, reminiscent of the late 1940s and early 1950s,” said Ron Oberg, franchise owner. “Values of unity and quality family time from that postwar era are the foundation of our concept, but we mix in modern day conveniences like digital menu boards to create a dining experience that’s timeless and comfortable for Guests of all ages.”
