HARLINGEN, Tex. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers® opens Wednesday, June 20, at 902 Dixieland Rd., Ste. 101 near Target and Valle Vista Mall. It marks the third Freddy’s restaurant in Rio Grande Valley, following sites in Pharr and McAllen.
“The Dixieland Road retail corridor has a steady flow of traffic through the area and is home to a wide variety of retail businesses, restaurants and family-friendly entertainment venues that makes it a great fit for Freddy’s,” said James Oberg, franchise owner. “We’re looking forward to continuing the growth of our fast-casual burger concept throughout the Rio Grande Valley area.”
The 3,510 square-foot, end-cap restaurant seats 96 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Freddy’s is known for its lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna® Beef hot dogs and crispy shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is freshly churned throughout the day in each restaurant.
