DAWSONVILLE, Ga. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens on Sunday, May 21, at 254 Crossroads Blvd. in front of Publix in Dawson Crossroads. The fast-casual restaurant is known for its lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and crispy shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh throughout the day.

“The communities in Atlanta and the surrounding area have given us a lot of support, so we give back whenever possible,” said Nick Esterline, franchise owner. “Through June 20, local nonprofit United Way for Dawson County will receive 10 percent of all sales from regular and large size frozen custard treats at our new restaurant.”

The 3,010 square-foot, freestanding restaurant is developed by TGC Development Group out of Wichita, Kan., and is operated by JRI Management based in Salina, Kan. The building seats 99 guests and will have additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

“Consistency with fast, friendly service, and quality menu items remains a top priority as we continue our expansion within the Atlanta area,” said Esterline. “We want our guests to be able to visit any Freddy’s location and have a pleasant experience at each one.”
