KENNESAW, Ga. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will make its Kennesaw debut on Sunday, Nov. 13, at 1360 Earnest Barrett Pkwy. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with Cobb Chamber is planned for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16. Lindsey Turner with nonprofit organization ELI Project plans to be in attendance. The organization will receive ten percent of sales from all regular or large size frozen custard treats sold through Dec. 13.
“The intersection of Earnest Barrett and Cobb Parkways is a high-traffic area with many attractive points of interest,” said Nick Esterline, franchise owner. “We feel Freddy’s is a great fit. We’re also pleased to announce that Freddy’s broke ground last month in Marietta at 3705 Dallas Highway SW and is slated to open in early 2017.”
Developed by TGC Development Group and operated by JRI Management, the 3,010 square-foot, free-standing restaurant in Kennesaw seats 100 guests. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
“Our menu items include lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries,” said Jason Ingermanson, franchise operator. “We also serve dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh several times throughout the day.”
