SUFFOLK, Va. – Fast-casual restaurant concept, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, opens Sunday, Aug. 12, at 1007 University Blvd. near Kroger. Freddy’s is known for its lean, ground beef steakburgers, Vienna® Beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries, as well as frozen custard treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is freshly churned throughout the day in each restaurant.
“Our team works hard to provide a comfortable environment in the restaurant by focusing on cleanliness and quality service,” said Dave Dreiling, franchise owner. “They strive to visit with each Guest to make sure everyone is enjoying their time and meal at Freddy’s.”
The 3,361 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 108 Guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
“We enjoy educating first-time Guests on the menu and concept,” said Dreiling. “We have two popular specialty orders: the Freddy’s Original Double and the Signature Turtle Sundae. There are a variety of condiments and toppings for our menu items, so we encourage you to customize your orders to your liking and find your own special Freddy’s favorite.”
