DURANT, Okla. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 1051 Westside Dr. The opening marks a second Freddy’s in the Texoma region, joining a location that opened in Denison at the beginning of the year. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, Vienna® Beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
“We opened our first Texoma-area Freddy’s location earlier this year in Denison and we’re grateful for all of the support we’ve received from the community,” said Mark Thompson, franchise owner. “We look forward to serving Durant with the same high quality, cooked-to-order menu items in a fun and comfortable environment.”
The 2,446 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 76 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
“Our signature fry sauce is well-known among Freddy’s fans,” said Thompson. “It adds a tangy twist to our crispy shoestring fries, though guests enjoy it with all of our side options, burgers and hot dogs. You can also purchase an 18-ounce bottle to take home with you and pair the taste of Freddy’s with some of your favorite homecooked meals.”
